**HELPFUL TIP: If you are having a get together during the day, be sure that your candles have been burned down a bit. There's nothing worse than a fresh unused candle eye sore! Also, a trick with these gorgeous beeswax candles... the night before your party, throw them in your freezer! The colder they are, the slower they burn! Otherwise, you can run through a pack of these quicker than you can say:

"Jack be nimble!"

Hello readers! I am so excited about the Livestrong website, that I wanted to write an entry about it! It is the neatest site I've discovered in a LONG time! This site can answer any question you may have about anything health related..... everything from healthy, delicious recipes to vitamin inquires to "Quit Coaches" (help to finally stop that nasty habit you may have) to cancer support groups.... and much, MUCH more. I highly suggest for you to take a gander and see what you can find.

 

  

One of the things that I am most excited about is that it directed me to a downloadable iTunes app for training for a half marathon! I am going to attempt a half-marathon soon and have been researching training schedules. The group who has put this together has created an app for iPhones, iPads, Droid devices and best of all (for me) iPods!!! They compile a play list for you to download to your iPod with songs specifically plucked from the music world to go in sync with the intensity of your workout. I mean, what more could a girl training for her first half marathon ask for?!?!?! If the music doesn't get me through, hopefully the beautiful scenery will, as I am hoping to participate in the Kiawah Island Half Marathon.

Sofa Shopping!

It is covered in a soft, plush brushed cotton and men love it because it has a BENCH seat (translation: one cushion on the seat), so feels like a twin bed... when laying down watching football, of course! Another added bonus is the AWESOME leather contrast throw pillows... cool or what?! Cindy and the shop girls sure do know how to mix it up! I mean, is this cool or what? Yes- regular sofa, but being used as a banquette! Great, huh?!? The contrast cord adds a little spice and this one is actually a double whammy for men: bench seat AND a low arm! Men gravitate to lower arms for some reason... I can only assume that they are more comfortable to jump out of and scream at the TV when some silly ref makes a terrible call.

The fabric and contrast cord on this one is very similar to the Hickory Chair sofa we just saw- but what a knock out combo!! Again- LOW ARM and while it may not be a bench seat DO NOT for one minute think this means uncomfortable. Maybe you should see for yourself!
