This Isn't Your Grandma's Porch Swing!

Circa designers always treat outdoor spaces as additional living space. Large, comfy custom porch swings are an easy way to draw you outside to read a book, enjoy a beverage, or take a nap! I pass by a house on Hermitage on my way to work every morning that has a great swing and every day I think how fun it is. Take a look at a few I've seen recently.
Even the folks at Garden & Gun agree! This rustic porch swing was previewed on their most recent cover.
Circa's Patricia Flachs recently had a swing made for her screened porch. It turned out fabulous! The fat ropes holding it up are a great touch. Patricia chose a neutral fabric for the main cushions but adds a pop of purple with accent pillows. Also, notice how she used Circa's little metal martini table for a place to set her beverage or magazine.

This is another version designed by Bobby McAlpine as seen in House Beautiful.
Another Bobby McAlpine swing as seen in The Home Within Us.

Circa designer Heather Smith chose an upholstered outdoor swing with ropes for her front porch in Charlotte. I love the back's curved design!
Is it nap time yet?!?
