Fun New York Kitchen in Elle Decor

Check out this New York kitchen! I think it's an excellent use of space and a nice incorporation of old with the new. This utilitarian kitchen is aesthetically pleasing but also extremely functional for event planner Bronson van Wyck who often hosts dinner parties. I love their use of long open shelving above a double stainless apron-front sink. Using a huge pot rack over the island frees up a tremendous amount of cabinet space while simultaneously creating a lived-in look. The cabinets are painted in Farrow & Ball's Black Blue - very handsome and clean. I also love their white subway tile and library card-catalogue cabinets pulls on the salvaged stained pine island!
